First Sunday Away

It is an interesting experience to visit another church when you have been attending the same church for a long time. Although the service was good it certainly was not what I hoped for. I guess an open mind is required in order to continue enjoying church services every week as we travel across the country. This first try was at a relatively large church and seems to embrace much of the 'seeker' sensitive motive that has taken much of the church captive. Will be attending a smaller AOG church this Sunday. I do believe that the Lord meets us wherever we are and is not dependent upon a particular format to reach His people! We met many wonderful followers of Jesus and look forward to meeting many more as our Traveling with Jesus journey continues! Also have had many opportunities to pray for and minister to those we have met throughout the week, Praise the Lord!
